There are about 11,000 beef operations in Ontario, contributing $4 billion to the provincial economy. Leeds-Grenville operations account for about 37,000 cattle of all ages. The average Ontario beef operation runs about 66 cattle and our dominant beef breeds include Angus, Blonde d’Aquitaine, Charolais, Gelbvieh, Hereford, Limousin, Maine-Anjou, Shorthorn and Simmental.
Rooney Feeds is proud to serve many of the top breeding and production beef herds of Eastern Ontario. We work side by side with the farmer and expert nutritionists at Shur-Gain to provide the best feeding program to achieve the desired results at an afforadable price.
